2021 Golfweek North East Junior Championship

Eligibility requirements: Any junior golfer age 13-19 at the start of the event and is not affiliated with a college golf program.
Format: 36 holes stroke play.
Divisions: Boys and Girls
Tees: Boys play approximately 6,700 yards; Girls play approximately 5,700 yards. (Approximate yardage based on weather conditions)
Conditions of play: USGA Rules of Golf shall be in effect.
Entry Fee: $235.00
Tournament registration includes: Two rounds of tournament golf, tee gift, and complimentary lunch on day one.
Entry Deadline: 5 p.m. Sunday, August 16 or until the field is full
National Rankings: Golfweek / Sagarin, Junior Golf Scoreboard.
Schedule of Events:
August 16 - 21: Practice round must be arranged by the player. To reserve a tee time, you should phone the Waubeeka golf shop, 413-458-8355 and identify yourself as a Golfweek North East Junior Championship participant. Practice rounds are available for the rate of $1.00 per hole. For players that are members of YOUTH ON COURSE, the rate is $5.00 per round.
August 21: 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Player registration at the course. Registration is not mandatory, but players will receive tee gifts and other event information.
Sunday, August 22: First round shotgun at 1:15pm. "Grab and Go" lunch available either before of after your round.
Monday, August 23: Final round tee times start off of No. 1 and No. 10 starting at 8:15a.m. Awards ceremony to follow immediately upon winners being determined in each division.
About the Golfweek Junior Tournament Series presented by USA Today: The Golfweek Junior Tournament Series presented by USA Today Sports is now in its 20th year, with this being the first editiion of the North East Junior Championship. All events in the Series are nationally ranked by Golfweek / Sagarin and Junior Golf Scoreboard. 54-hole tournaments are counting events for the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) administered by the R&A and USGA. The Golfweek International Junior Invitational is the flagship event of the Series and annually boasts of one of the top fields in junior golf and entry is based solely on invitation or though a top finish in the Golfweek Junior Tournament series .
At stake: Top finishers in each division of the Golfweek North East Junior Championship will earn an automatic invitation to compete in the prestigious Golfweek International Junior Invitational Nov. 7-8 in Florida - destination to be determined.

Cancellation and refund policy: Any player who wishes to cancel from the event, must notify Tournament Director Ron Gaines via email, rgaines@golfweek.com. Players who cancel on or before July 11, 2021 will receive a full refund less a $35 processing fee. Cancellations that take place from July 12, 2021 to July 31, 2021 will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations that take place after July 31, 2021 will result in no refund.
*Please note: Refunds cannot be processed unless a player cancels via email contact with Ron Gaines (rgaines@golfweek.com). Players who cancel directly through the tournament web site are cleared from the portal and have no means of refund.
